I miss streaming. I could probably stream anytime I want but I'm so used to a certain OBS setup that it's mentally hard to consider streaming without it the way it was before. Working on my OBS has given me so many headaches and meltdowns that I'm not sure it's worth it to "fix" first. It might just be more worth it to start minimalistic then work my way back to my overlays and we'll set up scenes and the like. I'm too dizzy to try right now but perhaps I should soon, even if my OBS is incomplete...

Though a new year, I really need help keeping ends met... and I'd like to upgrade my setup for streaming.

Well, getting used to a mic that isn't attached to my headphones will take a while. This unfortunately means that a good portion of last night's stream has really awful mic audio because I didn't realize that how I was sitting was causing the mic to pick me up as though I'm talking through a bottle. Presently, this is my GF's mic, which I'm only borrowing due to my microphone issues. I'm hoping that when I get a more permanent microphone situation, I can better fine tune my setup to make the mic work better in the various positions I stream in.

So I managed to fix something with how my setup is with Parasite Eve. I'm going to try again next stream.

When Ubuntu and ChromeOS is too painful to setup for remoting...

Windows is the only option.
