Hey, pushed some changes to the backend that will result in media uploading the site much faster. Also, the site will now properly utilize the CDN, so media not already cached by your browser will load quicker.

Hey all, just wanted to let you guys know sending direct messages is currently disabled while a bug is patched that caused messages to be sent to the last conversation session loaded and potentially not who you meant to.

Site is back up after restarting some services, will investigate into what caused the downtime and prevent it for occurring in the future, apologies for the inconvenience.

A bit more polishing and testing and nsfw post tagging will be posted live, hopefully before I leave for work.

You will be able to mark any post as safe, sensitive, or restricted. Users those choose not to see sensitive or restricted posts will have them completely removed from their feed, search, etc.

Once birthdays are added to the site, anyone's whose age is under 18 will not be allowed to show restricted posts.

You know, I like how sharing posts here doesn't create a new instance of the post. One of the most flawed systems of Twitter are quote retweets, which basically create a new post and take all engagement away from the original poster.
