So this was spotted in Turkey, and people are freaking out and saying that it's a UFO or judgement day.
It's the perfect time to remind everyone that nature is cool! And just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it's not real. This is a rare cloud formation called a lenticular cloud and it happens on high altitude mountain tops. This one is just being beautifully highlighted by the sunset behind it 🥰
I was fortunate enough that my grandma lived right next to a national park so a good portion of my life was spent in the mountains and I've seen these a couple times in my life.
