You'll be able to add audio directly to your posts yes. However the biggest feature is the ability to allow users to subscribe to you and receive exclusive posts.

with dms on the site, it shows on the site when you have a dm, but the tab doesnt have a number like it would for regular notifications, so if your waiting on a dm from someone you may be VERY late to find out you got the dm
