Improvements have been made to how notifications are handled, resulting in them being handled in the background now. They no longer get processed before your action (post, like, repost, etc) is finished.

Please let me know if you notice any issues. If you notice you're not receiving push notifications within the mobile app, please make sure you're on the latest version and then resign in/reinstall.
