There's a silver lining here, you can eventually start encouraging wholesomeness and discouraging this kind of behaviour by being a positive influence.
A good analogy would be, you can't clean the dirty ocean without getting into the ocean yourself.

Unfortunately this line of work involves a lot of people and some of those people are like that and there aren't many options to avoid that as you need people for this to work. Even if you pull yourself by the bootstraps without ever collabing/getting help with art/getting help with editing/ getting help with marketing/ getting any other kind of help. You still will have fans, fans that with one hand the pay you and with the other are being what you said in your post.

I use vrm live viewer I think. I know I use a few vrm platforms. I actually think I made a promo video in live viewer.

It's a tie between setting up to go live, and people who come into your chat just to be mean. Luckily I have some lovely mods who help with one of those problems :)

A lot of people take "kindness" as "weakness". I used to work in customer service, and if things don't work out my return to it too, and I'm always nice to people and the amount of times people thought I was dumb and gullible just for being nice is astonishing, they were legit shocked when I straight up said no, because they thought nice=weak and they tried to take advantage of that. Say no. It hurts for the moment but it's good in the long run.

The reason why some people treat being told no as a bad thing is that they assume you're saying no because you don't like them. So, so many people take it personally, it's insane. Just look at dating, being told no isn't treated as "guess they're not interested", it's treated as "they hate me, I'm ugly, nobody will ever love me". This applies to a lot of situation of saying no. That being said, you absolutely should say no when you don't want to do something, after all how will they know otherwise?
