"Big boys don't cry."
It was drilled in my head over and over by my father when I was young.
I can't ugly-cry anymore.
Last time I ugly-cried was about... 3 years ago, I think... maybe 5 by now... when I was told I'm not allowed to hold any job. Ever.
Then I went through a whole mental breakdown.
People, of course, avoided me like the plague because "that guy is going through some SERIOUS SHIT right there".
Naturally, my dad wishes to undo the damage, but it's been done already.

Yeah, I've got some mental block about crying too. Not sure of the cause, but the last time I had a serious crying session was about 3 years ago when I crashed my car. I just can't open the floodgates on my own. It's gotta be some strong external stimulus.
