Robbery, drugs, and guns at Anime Expo. Oh my!
1. As reported, a guest reportedly, an artist, had her money stolen at the Expo.
2. Another reported that she was drugged because someone snuck drugs in ice cream.
3. KSon from VShojo told everyone that there is an active shooter and everyone in cosplay are running for their lives.
4. Anime Expo is held in LA, California. So I am not surprised as to where Anime Expo is held since LA in California is known for hard and heavy crimes.
5. I just hope everyone is safe and hope no one goes to cons in California ever again. I mean it.

Spiking food/drink, shooters, and stealing, are always risks at any big gathering anywhere. That's not just an LA thing...it feels weird to imply that. LA is not more dangerous than, say, NYC, Chicago, or any other city with large gatherings.
Calling on ppl to not attend cons in Cali won't do anything but harm the communities there while all that happens elsewhere.
