New thing I'm doing.

For WFM kits specifically (since I can't afford it for other series/past kits) I'll be using Action Base 6.

I printed labels on clear sticker paper for the new Gunpla stands, then coated it with clear matte spray paint. THEN I put them on the bases for the effect below.

I think it really makes it look "professional". ^^

Gunpla collection update:
New lighting.

Its been a year... I think I need a new track for my gunpla build BGM.

Just wanted to say - I know my models aren't "painted", other than matte clear coat. I panel line, then do "corners" as well. Most often, this makes the model appear "cel-shaded" or "anime/manga accurate".

My hope is that with even so few tools & paints, even a novice can do Gunpla comfortably after seeing my work.

Please, don't ever feel pressured by builders who - while doing beautiful work - may be critical of yours. If you wanna' duplicate my work starting out, you just need an xacto knife, matte clear coat, $5 gunpla nippers, and "Pointliner" 0.05mm pens.

Even if you're not into Gunpla yet and just think it looks neat, I'd LOVE it if we collaborated!

I want to help you try your first Gundam model and build the same model as you! Even try the same kit, but build them differently! You can even start with as few as $15 in tools, a black felt-tip nonpermanent pen, and a cheap can of clear matte spraypaint. And we can get kits cheap - anywhere from $7-$25! So it shouldn't be hard for both of us to get the same kit, then build!

I call it "Hazel Inlé". I built it during the 48hr marathon the weekend-before-last using like.... three kits?
There's not much left I think I'll do to it (aside from perhaps a few more small decals?) so I think I'll consider it finished.
